On Top of the World

Sometimes you just have to let go and embrace the change, a story of a Zarucci Bride.

Like most engaged couples Devin and Brett were planning a big wedding with all their family and friends, but soon realized that the whole big wedding celebration really wasn’t them and they wanted to do an intimate and adventurous elopement. With the help of their photographer Kaylyn (and story teller) they decided on taking a float plane to a tiny glacier lake in the mountains. Until they got an email from the airline that unfortunately access to that lake isn’t possible anymore, an unfortunate reality of limitations we all keep facing these days. But they changed the plans and decided on flying to beautiful northern BC falls instead.⁣ The pictures speak for themselves.

"Who knew exploring in wedding attire would be so much fun! I sure didn't. I only fell in a stream one time, it just happened to be a little over a half hour into our shoot BUT if you're only going to wear a dress one time you might as well wear the shit out of it! A little mud never hurt nobody!" We love everything about this Brett!

"WELL, the day turned out so much better then we could have ever imagined, and in the end we were SO freaking grateful and learned a valuable lesson - sometimes when curveballs get thrown your way, you have to just throw your hands in the air, lean into it and say BRING IT ON - because that change can lead to your most beautiful chapter yet. ❤️"

Congratulations Devin and Brett! That was magical.
